Presentation Guideline

Oral Presentation

  • All presentations should be proceeded in English.
  • Each oral presentation is allotted for an 8-minute presentation followed by a 3-minute Q&A, totaling 11 minutes per presenter.

Presentation File Format

  • Microsoft Office PowerPoint (PPT) (Wide screen 16:9 aspect ratio)
  • Please note that all oral presentations must include a Conflict of Interest (COI) slide as the 2nd slide.
  • Use standard fonts such as Arial, Times New Roman
  • Images should be in JPG, GIF format
  • Video files should be in WMW, MPEG or AVI format

Presentation File Submission

  • Please bring your presentation files on an USB memory stick to the onsite preview room at least 2 hours before your scheduled session time.

Equipment in the Session Room

  • Session rooms will be equipped with a Windows computer (not Mac), a projector, and a microphone.
  • Podiums will be equipped with a monitor, a mouse, and a smart pointer (without a keyboard).
  • Using your personal laptop computer is not allowed to ensure the smooth progress of the session

Poster Presentation

  • Poster presenters will display their posters during the designated exhibition period.
  • You can use the poster template or use your own individual poster presentation form.
  • Posters will be posted as printed posters, and each poster must be brought in printed to the poster size specifications below.

Poster Size

Poster Board
  • Your Poster: 80cm (W) x 100cm (H) *Maximum
  • Poster Board: 100cm (W) x 150cm (H)
  • The poster title, author(s)'s name(s) and institution(s) should appear at the top.

Poster Set up & Removal

  • Presenters are responsible for both setting up and removing their posters.
  • Please set up your poster by 9 am on the day of your presentation and remove it at the end of the day.
  • Any materials left on the poster board after each day will be removed and discarded.
  • We do not take any responsibility for anything left at the end of the Poster Session.
  • Adhesive tape will be provided.
